Host a Corks & Cupcakes Party!

A few months ago I read an article about wine and cupcake pairing events. This peaked my interest. I thought to myself I love wine. I love cupcakes. What a fabulous idea! I checked to see if any local restaurants or vineyards were hosting a pairing event, sadly they were not. I thought about it and decided I could try this at home. So I headed to my local wine store and bought a selection of wines. As for the cupcakes, I thought instead of having to bake several kinds, I would buy them. We recently had a Nothing Bundt Cakes open in town. They have a good selection of flavors, so I used their version of a cupcake, Bundtinis for the pairing. The tasting was a success, everyone enjoyed the flavor combinations. If you love wine and cupcakes I totally recommend hosting a pairing party at your home.
